Colclough Walled Garden Identity Design

cwg_logoHistory was the inspiration for the design of Colclough Walled Garden’s logo. Alan the Project Manager of the garden’s revival wanted their new logo to reflect the history of the garden within its environs of Tintern Abbey.

An eagle was chosen as the main visual motif. Alan sent me photographs of a carved stone eagle he had sourced in old records. The logo design complete with eagle and gardner’s forks was created in Illustrator ready for professional print production.

Gratitude Logo Design

Gratitude_Logo_IdentityThe concept for the logo is derived from the hands on experience one receives when they visit Gratitude Massage & Reflexology. Anne the business owner, wanted to embue a real sense of the meaning of the word ‘gratitude’ into her logo design. Apart from the idea of hands being the tools of her trade, I designed an icon for hands that incorporates within it the shape of a heart, which connects with Anne’s ‘heart-felt’ approach to her work and her deep sense of the importance of being thankful everyday.

The design was created in Illustrator, for both online and
professional print production. There are two versions,
white on cyan blue and the full colour version.


Nicholas Mernagh Architect Brand Identity Design

mernagh_logoNicholas wanted a typography based identity design that immediately ‘spoke architecure’. It needed to be simple and read well across all branded material from business cards to onsite signage.

The result is a strong architectural typographic solution using Pirulen as the main type style complimented with Futura for the strapline. The ‘A’ of the main font was adapted to include a dot which signified a door opening
within a building.


Scurri Logo Identity

scurri_logoThe Scurri logo was designed to be an adaptable one. Scurri’s online business is cloud based and needed to reflect web 2.0 graphic aesthetics. Rory the business owner had definite ideas on what he wanted to achieve. The resulting logo was designed with strong visual typography encased in a light reflective cloud shape. Since it’s inception, the design has been adapted to new colours to match their evolving online web presence.

The design was created in Illustrator, for both online and
professional print production.


Sandra from Zofo Creative has been working with Scurri since we formed the company on various design projects. I find Sandra to be a very talented designer who is very particular about getting the detail right and delivering exceptional quality.  This is an admirable talent in a world where quick fixes have become the norm.

Doran Concrete Brand Identity Design

doran_concrete_logoThe design for Doran Concrete’s logo design was derived from ideas such as progress, forward thinking, strength and solidity. The upward pointing blue diamond shape looks towards the future. It is anchored by strong supporting curved shapes rooted in an earthy green colour.

The final design is a modern contemporary representation of the family business.
